Day two waits for no one! After close calls in every stage on day one of the Inter-High, Team Sohoku is utterly exhausted. But with two full days left, the fight is far from over. Right off the bat, Naruko, Imaizumi, and Ashikiba are once more stuck in a face-off on the dangerous Konsei Pass. Meanwhile, the mounting pressure of the Inter- High is finally catching up to first-year Kaburagi. While the rest of Team Sohoku is racing for the front, Kaburagi is struggling to keep going. Can he endure the grueling uphill battle before him, or will the looming climb prove to be insurmountable?
